Minor Paint Correction - Single stage machine polish removes light swirls, scratches, oxidation and water spots from the paintwork restoring gloss. Machine polishing is performed in addition to a decontamination detail and removes 40% - 60% of paint defects.

Opti-Coat Application - Opti-Coat is a permanent resin coating that beads water and repels debris unlike any traditional carnauba wax or paint sealant. Opti-coat not only significantly reduces the amount of time needed to wash and dry a vehicle, but it saves vehicle owners hundreds of dollars over the lifetime of the coating.

Opti-Glass Application - Opti-Glass is a glass coating that is chemically designed to bond to silica based surfaces. Opti-Glass is abrasion resistant and can stand up to repeated windshield wiper use that would easily remove traditional glass sealants. Opti-Glass offers up to a year of protection on the windshield and lasts even long on non-forward facing windows

Smooth As Glass

Every time that a new layer of protection is added or before the paint is polished, the clay bar process should be performed.  The clay bar process removes embedded contamination from the vehicle’s paint that regular washing leaves behind.  Typically a vehicle will need to be clayed every six months to keep it free of embedded contaminants.

Critical Details strongly advocates the use of detailing clay which is why we always recommend the Decontamination Detail to our clients.  Unless your vehicle is a ‘garage queen’ that only gets driven a few times a year, it needs to be clayed.  Applying a wax or paint sealant without claying the surface greatly reduces product durability and detracts from the overall appearance of the paint.  Although the Decontamination Detail is more expensive initially, in the long run your vehicle and your wallet will thank you.
